September 21 st from 10:00 a.m. until noon. As the seasons change, and as we think ahead to
the holidays and gift giving, making and gifting our beautiful bags and pouches may come to
mind. In order for our makes to look as professional as possible, we need knowledge of
interfacing and stabilizers so we can achieve the look we want. Come and join us for a group
gathering where we all can share our knowledge, our successful and ‘not so successful’ bags.
We can all learn what to do and what not to do, again.
If you have bags or pouches that you’d like to bring to share with specifics about the interfacing,
that would be helpful for others to learn. Also, in order to test some interfacing and stabilizers
that will be available (some has been donated and some will be available for purchase), please
bring material samples (cotton, canvas, denim, or other materials that you’d like to try) your
own iron and a press cloth. There will be ironing boards and wool ironing mats available for use.
We look forward learning from each other as we continue our bag making journey!
