Sweater School is for advanced beginner students who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and have made a few projects already.
Before class students should buy and wind yarn, and make a gauge swatch – the instructor will work with students remotely for assistance with this part. You’ll need to register by October 8th in order to have time to prepare for class .
Week 1: review gauge swatches, determine size, and begin ribbing along neckline
Homework: complete ribbing
Week 2: begin yoke (includes increasing)
Homework: continue working on yoke to where sleeves are separated
Week 3: no class- time to get to the next step on the yoke at home
Week 4: separate sleeves, begin working body
Homework: continue working on body, this can be completed at any time, no deadline.
Week 5: pick up first sleeve, begin working sleeve (includes decreasing)
