If you’ve always wanted to learn to sew or if you have a sewing machine and you’re not sure how to use it, then Sewing School is for you! During this course you will learn all the basics. You’ll learn to use a sewing machine, and complete a variety of projects designed to build your sewing skills.
If you don’t have a sewing machine, we have some available to borrow for this class
LEVEL: Beginner
Age: 18+ Adults only
All supplies are available at Sew to Speak. Our helpful staff is available to assist you in finding what you need. You will receive a student discount of 15% all supplies for your class.
Supplies:
- Course book: School of Sewing: Learn it, Teach it, Sew Together by Shea Henderson (book is included in the class fee, please pick up in store)
- Supply lists for each project will be emailed to you by your instructor ahead of each class
Additional supplies:
- 1 large thread in neutral color
- 1-2 small threads to match tote, bag, and pouch fabrics
- A 1/4″ presser foot for your particular machine
- 1 or more additional bobbins
- 1 light marking pen or chalk
- 1 dark marking pen or chalk

Before shipment, all ordered items will be thoroughly examined. The majority of orders are delivered within 48 hrs. The delivery time is estimated to be between three and seven days.
Returns
The inventory is constantly changing and we cannot completely manage it due to the fact that many stakeholders are involved, including our warehouse and factory. The stock levels may fluctuate at any moment. Please be aware that it's possible that your order could be out of stock after you have made the order.
Our policy runs for a period of 30 days. If it's been more 30 days since the date you bought the item, we unfortunately can't give you a complete refund or exchange.
You are able to return an item in the event that it is not used and in the same state as the day you received it. The item must be returned in the original packaging.
